Escaping from Concrete Jungle

It is nice to be back with new stories to share. About a couple of months I was busy with moving to Antalya (Mediterranean region of Turkey) so did not have time to post in my blog. Let’s make it up to you, starting from why anybody should choose Antalya to live.

Last twelve years I had been living in Istanbul. Amazing, colorful city, full of beautiful historical sights, people from all over the world, and infinite possibilities. However, as it often happens, you get sick and tired of metropolis and its rhythm, dreaming to be somewhere relax, under the palm trees, watching sundown, sipping your bourbon.
Well, I was looking for that kind of place for quite a lot time. Considering different countries and continents. Meanwhile, the solution was here, just in front of my eyes – Antalya, astonishing city of almost never-ending summer.
Therefore, here are my five top reasons to move to Antalya:
1. Natural beauty. Mediterranean Sea with a biggest number of sandy and pebbled beaches and bays. Panoramic views. Wildlife and National parks. Canyons, mountains and waterfalls.
2. Friendly environment. Nice people, international public with lots of foreigners all over the year. There is no rush and unnecessary stress. Everybody is enjoying live.
3. Well-developed infrastructure. Especially for foreigners, I should say – you will never face any trouble with web, home or transport here. Antalya is welcoming foreigners.
4. Any kind of entertainment can be found in Antalya: clubs, pubs, sea tours, fishing, concerts, street art, performances, festivals, awesome family attractions, historical remains, museums, picturesque ruins of ancient cities. There are lots ofthings to do in Antalya, so you do not get bored.
5. Last but not the least. Fresh fruits, vegetables, fish and meat. A large number of organic bazars, where you may find everything at best price and quality.
My final verdict: if you are a freelance, Antalya might be your personal paradise with high-level services, all kinds of leisure activities, comfortable climate conditions, nice people and food. Reasonable prices are worth mentioning as well
