VR Now

I got so excited when YouTube together with Snoop Dogg announced a new 360-video feature.

VR gears like Oculus are wide spread these days. However, sharing 360 video examples via YouTube (available to large audience on their smartphones) brings my work to another level.

By the means of that feature, I do not just explain but show, what I can do with the 3 dimensional 360-degree world.

Some examples of my projects, generated with the tightest deadlines ever =)

Adding some branding in 360 roller-coaster video, this was a test for me too. Because I knew how to make some matte painting to a standard 1920×1080 HD video. However, had never been in 360 video editing before =) Here is the result.

You can see brandings at 0:00 at the right panel, 1:30 as flag on the rails, 2:54 as banner on the exit platform and all the time on the coaster.

The idea was to show the way medicine works. With this VR game, user could fly through the true veins in the eye. Shot the medicine to attach broken blood vessels. Sadly, this was one of my first modelling to VR, so polycount and textures are of a bit low quality.

Later I created some more examples like these; I worked on two other VR Project for IFA 2016.

First one was a city fall

A real deal lift was lifting you up with VR headset on you. Then you were falling down, after a while you are watching around on the top of the highest skyscraper in the city. Fans were improving the feeling of being on the top of a skyscraper.

Second was a canyon pass

There was an old looking, wooden bride. Which was actually just a wood block. Idea was passing through it to other side, while ground is shaking a bit with fans at the side of course. People like both of them on the field. They drew a lot of visitors’ attention. There was a line of visitors to get to the simulator.
